SkillsUSA Ohio State Championships

The SkillsUSA Ohio State Championships brought over 3,000 competitors, business and industry partners, instructors, and vendors together in over 100 contests in all 16 Career Pathways to showcase Career and Technical Education in Ohio. Students competed for the title of best in Ohio in their respective career fields.


AOMC instructors Trevor Cochran and Elizabeth King were judges at the April 9, 2024 event at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Elizabeth Judged the additive manufacturing, and Trevor judged the mechatronics competition.


The event was ponsored by Advanced Technologies Consultants, INC. (ATC) and FESTO Corp. students were tested in mechatronics through hands-on skills tests. In additive manufacturing students presented their 3D printed designs to the judges.
